Douglas Elliman has joined the worldwide effort to handle the unfolding humanitarian disaster in Ukraine within the wake of the Russian invasion, now in its third week.
As a part of its philanthropic Elliman Cares initiative, the corporate has begun a fundraising marketing campaign in help of the American Pink Cross and pledged to match donations as much as $50,000. Donations could also be submitted via a touchdown web page on the Pink Cross web site.
“The impression of this conflict has reverberated world wide, and it has hit residence for many people at Elliman,” the corporate wrote in a message to staff saying the marketing campaign. “Along with members of the family and associates of brokers and employees who’re instantly affected, there are a selection of Ukrainian residents who work on a number of of the know-how platforms that allow us to conduct our enterprise on daily basis.”
The United Nations estimates that greater than 2.1 million refugees have fled Ukraine because the invasion started February 24.
